Create a Wallet
When using Metamask for the first time you will be asked to create a new wallet. It's super important that you do this correctly and securly!
Make sure you backup you secret passwords, otherwise your crypto will be lost forever.
The number 1 in Figure 2-1 indicates the beginning of using MetaMask wallet.
There are two ways to create a wallet
- if you want to create a new wallet you have to click box 1. This will give you a Secret Recovery Phrase for your wallet.
- If you already have a Secret Recovery Phrase then you can click box 2, this will allow you to import your existing wallet.
You'll be asked to create a password
You will be asked to backup your Secret Recovery Phrase. We recommend that you write multiple copies of this down on paper and store in different places.

You will be asked to confirm your Secret Recovery Phrase
Congratulations you have successfully created your Metamask account. You can now proceed to connect to the Caduceus Blockchain.
Note that you will be able to see your Secret Recovery Phrase anytime by going into MetaMask and then navigate to:
Settings > Security & Privacy and click Reveal Secret Recovery Phrase
