There are two Node Architectures, **V.1** and **V.2**. **V.1** is what is currently live and what is being used by select partners. You can think of it as a bare bones node with training wheels that is needed for the initial early stage of the blockchain. V2 is where all the exciting features will come out. 

## Nodes V.1

**V.1** Nodes is currently what is being run on our mainnet and testnet. You are able to view the source code [here](https://github.com/CaduceusMetaverseProtocol/CMPChain-FullNode). 

You can also run your own node which will allow you to verify the state of the chain and submit JSON RPC Requests to interact with the node ([See our EVM API](https://app.archbee.com/public/PREVIEW-OHrh7KSBDIl1NpFcNvARd))

## Nodes V.2

These nodes are where most of our new and exciting features will exist. 

A more detailed explanation of our **V.2** node architecture will be developed in due course, so stay tuned!
